Hi there! I wear a lot of black eyeshadow and I love it but in a few hours, it creases! I use primer and a black base (but I don't put the base in the crease) and then pat black over the base and blend it into my crease yet it still creases!! I have yet to find a solution so maybe you beautiful people of beautylish would like to help me out? thanks in advance if you do :)

What primer do you use? That could be the culprit.
I use stick concealers as an eye primer, which ends up being a hit or miss.

I find that setting my eye primer with a setting powder makes a big difference and lasts for hours! I use RCMAS setting powder and my shadow does not budge. I have oily eyelids that are a bit hooded. I always pat on my eye primer with my ring finger or a concealer brush, then I dust some setting powder on.

I would use a high end eye primer like Too Faced shadow insurance, there is definitely a difference between that and a primer from elf or a similar brand.
Also what base are you using? I would recommend trading it out for a Maybelline color tattoo, I think they have a black one in the leather collection. Nyx jumbo pencils tend to crease so I wouldn't use those

Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer is my holy grail, so if you're looking to try a new primer, I highly recommend that. I will say, I disagree with Ashley's suggestion of just a high-end primer in general. Some people's HG primer is drugstore, and for some it's high-end, it all depends on your eyes. Your best bet is to get and use samples for high end. Just keep in mind that if you shop around with drugstore, you'll quickly rack up to a high-end price if you don't return what doesn't work (and lots of places have generous return policies like that, CVS comes to mind right now).

I have super oily lids and I have been priming with cream concealer (thinned out with a little moisturizer) and powder and it is the best thing I've found so far. I had tried using a liquid concealer and it creased like mad. Silicone-based primers don't do much for me and the NYX jumbo pencils are useless in the summer. Also the nice thing about powder sealing the lids is that you can put a touch down in the underye area to act as a drop cloth in case you get any fallout. Just whisk it away with a fan brush. I agree with Sarah that everyone's eyes are different and plenty of people get great results with cheap primer.

I agree with Kitty. for me, setting the actual primer helps my eyeshadow stay crease-free throughout the day.

I have the very same problem, I've tried so many different primers it's insane! But today I'm trying Lumene's primer and I hope it'll work this time. :(
