I'm slowly but gradually building up my makeup kit as I'm very nearly at the the end of my qualification of becoming a professional MUA. But what are the must haves that should be in my kit?any ideas? X.

Hand sanitizer, breath mints, q-tips. My daughter is a MUA and I've noticed these items in particular in bulk in her kit. She told me the mints are vital when working so close with a client...to keep her breath in check and that of her client because there is nothing worse than having hot breath or dealing with a client with hot breath. Hand santi in case you don't have access to sink and soap to wash your hands before/after working with a client. Q-tips...clients eyes may water so she uses them to clear away the moisture using a patting motion so she doesn't disturb any makeup.

Bobbi brown concealer, corrector, & foundation palette I love it. Your dry skin clients skin will love this palette. Some many shades for different clients

Mints, hand sanitizer, q tips, disposable mascara wands, setting spray and a good spot cleaner for your brushes. Also water and alcohol in spray bottles. As far as cosmetic products go, I keep a good moisturizer (for all skin types), a lip balm, and 2 primers, one for oily/combination & one for dry. I like to keep foundations and concealers in lightest, medium, med. dark and dark in both warm and cool. I use an airbrush so it's easy to mix tones.
