Remember bold eyeshadow means nude lip and vice versa.

If you have a medium brown eyeshadow and a light one, (gold, white, nude, peach etc) you are good to go! apply on the lid, crease and blend it up and out. if you want you can put some on the lower lashline and next put a light eyeshadow to the inner corner and under your eyebrow. simple enough!

There is no rule about bold eyeshadow and bokd lips and vice versa. It all depends on how you do it as far as application. I rock a smokey eye and hot pink lips or red all the time. As long as they look good and balanced together (in other words, if you are good at doing makeup) then its fine. I don't believe in dumb rules like that.
