I purchased "better than sex" mascara and it's really wet compared to what I'm used to and I get it everywhere! I'm really not liking it but I want to use it up since I paid for it. Lol. Any tricks I can try so I don't get it everywhere? Lol.

Wipe off excess?

I would put a business card or spoon over your skin so it doesn't smudge and then the mascara will just get on the card or the spoon instead.

What I usually do with new mascara's if they're super wet is I do a layer of another mascara just as a base so you can separate your lashes and all, then make the new mascara your top coat and it should work pretty well :) then after maybe a week or so two at the most it should be a tiny bit dried out so it'll be easier to work with!

I would apply it in front of a fan. That's what I do with my wet mascaras, never any issues (:

You could try layering it over another mascara or a layer of baby powder. I love using really wet mascara for layering over dryer ones because I find they achieve maximum length this way.
