Should concealer or foundation or primers be covering discoloration and uneven skin tone?

I think primers over foundation and concealer. also, your skincare routine influences a lot.

A foundation evens out the skin tone, but it's primary function has never been to 'conceal'.
And a primer is prep for foundation, and some do come tinted but from what I have seen it has to be very minor discolorations to begin with. I use a color corrector for any kind of discoloration.. Bobbi Brown has some very nice color corrector that I use for under my eyes and on acne discoloration. NYX alternatively has one but I have not tried it out yet.

Thank you Kitty! I have some uneven skin tone and redness. I also wanted better coverage under my eyes.
