How do I use makeup to hide the oil in my t-zone? No matter what I do that pesky shine won't go away! How do I use make up to make sure that shine doesn't break through all day??

Maybe try a primer before applying foundation, preferably one aimed at oily complexions, I use revlon photoready. Set everything with an anti-shine powder like rimmel stay matte. You could also try using an oil free foundation, I love gosh oil free cc cream, or the foundation I've'e been using lately is urban decay natural skin, it's also oil free. I understand your struggle friend, oily girl problems lol.

What is your daily routine? and what products do you use? as for primers so many are around but you need a PURE Anti-Shine primer that eliminates oil because you could pile on powder but it won't solve the problem.Your foundation needs to also sister up with the primer to help it.

I'm not really good at makeup, so right now I just wash my face, put on shine control lotion, then stick foundation and layer on the powder. This isn't working and isnt really the right routine, but it's what I do with the supplies I have. I will look for a primer and blotting papers, thank you all so much! This is so helpful! Being fairly new to makeup, I have no idea what I'm doing. I really appreciate it!

I have dry skin, but blotting papers are definitely the way to go!

Carry around some cornstarch in your bag, when you feel shiny just dab some on your t zone and rub it in.

Apply a oil free primer, same with the foundation and you can put on a translucent powder or an oil control powder to finish or a matte setting spray!
