So my hair right now is kinda like a bob... I want to grow it out, but I'm not sure how I want to style it next. I also want to add some bangs, but I don't know whether to do side swept or straight across.

If you don't want a cut put it in braids and you will have nice definition and waves the next day :)

Blunt bangs make you look younger (unless they are wispy) and side bangs make you look a bit more mature depending on the style, if that's something you want to keep in mind; I think you would look beaut with either, though! As for styling there's not much, but I agree with Sabrina, on damp hair braid and after it dries fully there will be awesome waves.
