Tips/Tricks on how to make lipstick last all day.

Ok so, tomorrow I'm doing something I've never done before!! I'm wearing a really really really bold (dark) purple lip. The only problem is I don't want it to smudge or wear off throughout the day so if you have any tips on how to help lipstick stay longer I'd really like to know them. Thanks in advance😘

You will most likely have to touch it up if it's not a stain, but you can use a lip primer

I use Nyx Soft matte lip cream in Transylvania and hardly need to touch it up during the day.

You can get a clear lip liner (so it can work for all colors) and line your lips with that.

Apply your color, then take a tissue and split it in half. Put it on your lips and dust a translucent powder on top. It'll give it a matte finish, but it will for awhile. If you like it glossy, you can apply a second layer on top or use a gloss!

You can also apply concealer around your bottom lip to help it from moving. :)))

The quality of lipstick matters in how long it will last, so I would keep the tube with you so you can touch up through out the day. :)))

Hold a one pky tissue over your lips, dust on some translucent powder, apply more lipstick, repeat. I've heard it works quite well to prevent smudging.

I'll usually use a lip stain if I can! Layering it will make it more intense. If you don't want it to look matte, then add a gloss on top. And if you don't want to use a stain at all, I would recommend any of the Sephora Cream Lip Stains. It's actually a lipgloss that dries matte and stays put. It's amazingg!

Conceal your lips, then fill with a pencil. Add your first coat of lipstick, blot, powder lightly and add a second coat. Remember, a matte finish lasts must longer than a slippery glossy finish. 😘💋
