Did you want tips on how to do makeup, or what products to buy? Please be specific because this is a very broad question

Anything! I just want advice on something a beginner should know about makeup (in general)

A few tips:
1. Know your skintone and color! It makes all the difference! And by skin tone I mean are you warm toned or cool toned? With cool toned people, colors like blue, purple, gray, etc.look better on them. Warm toned people look better with colors like brown, red, yellow, some pinks, etc.
2. Make sure to blend your foundation when applying it. If it's lighter or darker than your actual skin color is, and you don't blend it, people will easily be able to tell that your wearing it!
3. Know your type of skin. Is your skin normal, dry, oily, or combination? You can have more than one of them so you'll often see on makeup labels "For normal to dry skin" or "For combination oily" etc. Getting the wrong makeup for your type of skin could cause major breakouts, peeling skin, or even over oily skin.
4. Be careful with red or darker colored Lipsticks/Lipglosses/Chapsticks. If you don't have the whitest teeth, the darker colors will showcase that. Lighter/nude colors with help hide that rather than accentuating it.
5. Know your face shape and structure. It'll help determine how best to do your makeup to bring out your best features. By face shape I mean If you have an oval, heart, circle, etc.shaped head. There are several diagrams on beautilish and the internet to help you find your shape. Then just look up techniques for your particular shape and structure :) Also, with structure, I mean your best features. Do you have large eyes? Do you have strong cheekbones? Do you have full lips? etc :)
I hope these helped! If you have any specific questions on what I said or just in general, I'd be happy to help! Good luck!! Xx
