How can I be successful on youtube?

Hi, so I'm thinking about making a youtube channel for hair and stuff like that but I want to do thins right. I know some people on here make videos so is there anything I should know so that people enjoy my videos? Idk if this violates the forum rules or not, if so, sorry.

I believe that this might fit under the Intros & Promotions category better. As for videos I think it would be a great idea.
