Okay so recently I purchased the Maybelline fit me foundation. I've only worn it twice & the first time I wore it my sister goes why is your face so shiny it looks oily so I told her maybe its because of the moisturizer that I used before I put on my foundation, but this morning I used the foundation again & it left my face super shiny, but its not really oily? Has anyone else had this problem with the foundation? Is there anything I can do to keep it from giving me that shiny oily look?

Yes, that foundation is very oily looking, setting it with a powder helps a a lot though. :)

It did the same thing to me. Even though I have oily skin, it made me even more oily. & broke me out severely. You can try setting it with a powder & see how that works. I hated it, I threw it out.

Some foundations just don't work well for the skin. You can try...
-mixing it with another foundation that works well with your skin
-use a damp cosmetic wedge that's wet with setting spray or water and press it all over your skin. It will sheer out the foundation a but but soak up the excess product and really meld the foundation into your skin. If you lose too much coverage reapply the foundation and repeat that sponge step.
-use a mattifying primer under
-use a tiny bit of transculent powder all over the face before application.
-do the wet sponge set with translucent powder (ben Nye colorless neutral set powder is my fave)

It happened with me. I have combo skin and I purchased and tried during the summer...it was not good. Do you and/or anyone else find that the foundation oxidised?
