I'm new to patterned leggings so I plan on spending some of my Christmas money on outfits :)
And what hair would go

Try taking a picture of just the leggings.. lay them out on your bed or something. I can't see them.

They're black and white checkered ^ lol.

um I'd say a loose black top, combat boots, leather jacket (if its cold), and bowler hat (optional)

black converse, oversized black sweater, Beanie.

white/black crop top, and red chucks (or vans, which I'm not a fan of, but I feel like they'd look good with the checkered pants)

I just bought a pair of black and white tarten style leggings yesterday. I paired them with black ankle boots, long black top with a pink cardigan.

Black and white leggings are very versatile and will go with most outfits just keep it simple :)
