I've been using it for about a month now, and my skin started drying out about a week ago.. I still think it could be the reason though. Do you think so too?

How's the weather where you are? My skin gets dry in places that are usually normal if it's really windy and cold, so if the weather's changed recently, that could be playing a part in your skin change.

I definitely agree that it could be the weather. I haven't noticed it in my skin just yet but my hair has been incredibly dry and it has been quite cold here lately. I had the same problem last year. I would suggest adding a more hydrating moisturizer and maybe cutting down on the astringent. Do you use it twice a day? If so maybe cut back to once a day at night.

Toners by their nature are meant to remove any excess oil & makeup left on your skin after cleansing. They will also temporarily minimize your pores by tightening the skin. Now not all toners are created equal. I'm sure there are some out there that are not drying. But most Neutrogena products are geared towards oily skin. Usually when oily skin is treated with toner, it will start to produce oil soon after. I would try not using it every time you wash your face. If you're using it twice a day, reduce it to once a day. If you're already using it only once a day, try using it every other day.

I have a humidifier running 24/7 in my room because my son has breathing problems and it helps him breathe better. I use this stuff once a day. It's been somewhat cold for the past 2 weeks, around 40?F for the average. I was using it to minimize my pores.. my skin is combination, only lately it's been crazy dry. Maybe it is the weather, I'll also cut back to every other day, thanks gals!

You guys are lucky, it's 10 degrees here! I have dry skin too and it's a pain in the butt, my moisturiser's been helping me out though.
