Hair help~ advice please.

So I asked the people of this lovely community about what hair style I could rock-- and I mentioned the fact I've never dyed my hair but in open to trying it out. I fell in love with this look, however my question is; what are things I have to take into account when washing/taking care of my newly dyed hairdo? Should I change my hair washing habits? Also I will provide a picture of me and my current hair if you want to suggest any other looks! :) thanks in advanced.

You would have to use a color safe shampoo and conditioner to keep your color safe. As far as damage wise, hair masks and hot oil treatments will fix that right up.

Honestly I think that idea would suit you well, but; getting there if you don't want to have to cut all that hair off in future is going to take time and patience. As for washing, if you're going to have pastel shades like the girl in that picture you'll probably have to wash your hair once a week if you want the dye to last 2/3 weeks tbh. When I had pastel purple hair it would be gone after a couple of washes and I'd need to dye again. :)

Think about the fading as well! Purple has a habit of turning grey if not continued to be dyed
