I hadn't done it over green dye but I did stain my hair green from hair chalk and it made it blonde again :) same with faded pink and purple :)

Color is so completely unpredictable. I've been doing hair for almost 14 years and I still get "uh oh's" every so often...especially with big corrections like this. there's so much science and what not that goes into it that its impossible to tell you for sure what will happen as an end result.

So, color removers are nice and all but sometimes this happens...while the color looks like it is completely gone, the molecules are still there. and when another color is applied over it, it can revert back to the original color. I didnt think this can happen with a turquoise color though. I've only ever had this happen with color that is mixed with developer (permanent color). I would get another box of color remover and go at it again, or if your hair can handle it then use a low volume bleAch to bust thru it. make sure you seriously rinse your hair after. like for a full 5 minutes.

Do you have a picture? The only thing I can think of is using a red dye or a copper dye with more of a red base apposed to orange to try and cancel it out. Just what I would probably do :) another thing I've heard people try is ketchup/tomato sauce for a little while to counteract the green.

Oh no! Sounds like a chemical reaction or something. When I was a kid I remember a girls hair turned green tinged and her moms hairdresser told her it was a reaction from chlorine. Haha wierd the things we remember forever hmm. Crossing my fingers Kelly comes back on soon maybe she knows what to do! Good luck getting it the color you want asap!

Well I am very mad at the moment. the color remover worked amazingly. I mixed up the color that was supposed to be bright copper blonde. thank god I didn't put it all over cause it turned my hair green!! and now I can't get it out cause it was a permanent color. how the hell did a copper color turn my hair green is beyond me so now I am.left with sea foam green streaks on the top of my hair. not impressed.
