My school's back to school dance is on Friday. The theme is hippy vs hipster. Ideas for both would be appreciated. Thanks!

For hipster I would wear bright pants, suspenders, and those big square framed glasses. ohh and I'd took up the sleeves if you wear a long sleeved shirt.

For hippy I'd also be sure to show off some kind of peace sign and put my hair in waves (they should be a bit messy though). And I'd definitely wear a long skirt (these are additions to what Alexis said)

I feel like most of the stuff that's considered "in" nowadays would be called hipster. I'd go for geek glasses, leggings, a bun, lots of jewellery, that kinda thing
