Say you like something they are wearing. If they do choir and you do choir talk to them about that. If you like sports talk to them aboutthat. Just be nice.

It's not really beautylish but I'm not going to scold you like some ppl do haha. Just say hi what up, name, likes and dislikes and find something tht you two both like and go on from there.

My advice is to smile and look happy. People are more likely to want to talk to you if they think you're in a good mood. The easiest way to start a conversation for me at least is to complement the person I want to talk to, then ask them where they got the thing you complemented them on and it pretty much starts a conversation every time
