Winter Formal Ideas

Hey Everyone! My middle school Winter Formal isn't until December 12th but I wanted to get some dress, hairstyles and makeup ideas before hand. My hair right now is almost to the end of my ribcage. It is a black/brown, I might dye either purple or indigo to the ends. I want a dress that goes to my knees or mid thigh. I have tan skin, if that helps with deciding on what color dress. I don't want a dress that's tight but kinda flowy. I'm not a pink person. For make up I usually only do Mascara and lipgloss, but between now and the dance I can experiment and Lear how to do eyeliner. If anyone could please give me advice or ideas I would love to consider all of them. One last thing, I would prefer the dresses to be Under $100, I think the highest I will possible go is $145-ish. again Thanks! I will try my best to respond to everyone.
