So my cousin has dark brown hair with blonde/caramel highlights and she wants to go red. she wants to.use the loreal hicolor in red that I used. will it look bad if she uses it too? I know the highlights will be lighter but I need opinions lol.

No it should look fine it will probably look like she has a bunch of red highlights
