I'm 5'7" and I have a lot of outfits that would look BOMB with heels haha but I'm so self-conscious about my height. I know that being tall is considered a good thing to a lot of people, but when I'm in heels I tower over everyone around me, including my boyfriend. I wish I was tiny! Haha. What do you guys think, should I cave and buy a pair of nude heels to wear with my Christmas outfit?

If it helps, I am 5'9 and if I wear heels, I am reeeaalllyyy tall. I tower over most everyone(when I wear the pair of heels I have, I go up to 6'3").
I would cave and get some nude heels :)

Eeeee that makes me feel better. :) I try to embrace it, haha. It's just hard sometimes cause I like to be shorter than my boyfriend (which I am when wearing flats or like 1 inch boots)

I'm 6' and a half and I wear heels all the time. If you want to wear a beautiful pair of heels then do it. Your not going to shrink over night so there's no point in worrying about what any guy thinks. I've dated many that don't like my height not my problem. Do you girl! And have some fun with fashion!

I am 5'7 as well & I wear the heck out of some heels! Lol I personally feel that u are never too tall for heels. If I was the tallest woman in the world, I would still pull out my stilettos & work it. Don't be self conscious about ur height; it's a beautiful thing.

I'm 5' 2"...EVERYONE towers over me!! When it's girls night out, I am still the shortest even in platform heels. I can tell you from my experience...when we go out on the town, it is my tall girlfriends that everyone ogles. I'm not saying I'm unattractive, I love my looks (not being arrogant), but it's pretty evident that I'm not the one the guys are staring at when we walk by. Being short, you just blend into the crowd that you aren't as noticeable I guess. In my opinion, a guy can be intimidated by your height, but that isn't gonna stop him from admiring a sexy pair of long legs ;-)

I'm about 5'5 and i'm taller than most people around me. And i LOVE my height. People tend to look down on tall girls from where i live and i always say that i'm model height and that's something short girls can't say (; wear your heels loud and proud girly! :D

im 5'9 as well.... i feel more beautiful when im towering everyone around me with my heels lol. but i understand what youre saying. it took me a long time to feel comfortable with my height. it just takes time, youre not the only one. but who cares the higher the heel the better ;) youre even more gorge...

I'm 5'11" and I will wear heels, just depends who I'm with or where I'm going!
If I'm just with my girl friends I'm definitely more likely to wear heels, but I usually want guys to be taller..

Do any of you know how tall the average person is in hawaii? About 5'3 or shorter, around there. That's for all races, ages and genders. I'm a half white half Asian girl and I usually tower over people here. I'm 5'8. I used to be so self conscious of my height around my friends, I wanted to shrink, so I get what your saying about heels. But trust me. Even though I get even taller than I already am around people, heels make me so sexy they don't even care. Go for it baby XD
