I've never actually bought a pair of tweezers, I just seem to acquire them. However, since moving back home from uni I seem to have lost mine so I actually need to go and buy some.
Is it really worth shelling out a lot of money for a pair of tweezers or are the cheap ones just as good as the expensive ones?
Also if you have any suggestions for brands or types I should look at, that would be very useful.

Thanks for the suggestion girls but £20 for a pair of tweezers seems such a lot.
What exactly is so good about them? I'd love to know your opinions before I think about spending that much.

Thanks Tris. And Jacqlyn it's definitely useful to know :P there's just part of me going "I could get tweezers for £3 what makes £20 ones so much better?" They seem so popular too and I can't quite wrap my head around it :P
It's so useful when you get to hear other people's opinions though. I don't mind spending if it's worth it :P

I have both cheap ones from drug stores and tweezerman, I do not see much difference. The cheaper ones I prefer as I don't worry as much about losing them

I use cheap ones and I think they work pretty good.

You can get the cheap ones and always sharpen them yourself?

I'm not sure. I too don't ever buy tweezers but I always think I should just buy some cause they seem better structured then some of the cheap ones I have lying around :) I'd say go for it, just don't lose them haha.

Tweezerman is great and I saved like half the $ by getting the mini/travel kind, they're big enough for me and still come in cute colors :)

I've had Tweezerman for years and I love the angle of them and how strong they are.

The ones Essence makes are really precise and I've had them forever! Maybe try a cheaper brand and then move up if you decide you need something better. We can't get tweezerman where I live so there's no question for me, I make it work! :)

You know what, I posted this last night and found my tweezers this morning XD
I'll definitely look into getting a new pair though. Thanks for all your thoughts ladies :)

I say you should invest in a good quality pair. As long as you're sure you aren't going to lose them the investment is worth it.
