I have a few! :) First, practice your smile in the mirror so it comes out just the way youd like :) Second of all, if you are planning on curling or straightening your hair, make sure it isnt frizzy because the frizz stands out (past experiences) I find it easier to straighten my hair in the night then when I wake up, its still straight and not as frizzy

A new outfit couldn't hurt. Even though it won't show in the picture, it'll boost your confidence.

Make sure not to wear white, I made that mistake. The background for the photo was white as well so on my student card it ended up looking like my head was floating. Also I find for make up just wear natural colours but heavier (but not cakey) than you usually would because the flash can wash you out.
