My skin is combination. I've tried every flipping foundation out there and was curious on this Chanel kind.
I've been through drug store, a few name brands and now this to me would be a big splurge. I like the feel, but wondering if anyone knows if it's good for combination skin?? help! thanks :)

Vitalumiere is going to leave you with somewhat of a dewy finish. If you want more of matte look and from the Chanel line I would look at the Velvet formula. I tried it when it first came out but it wasn't a great color match. But it sure did keep my skin matte even in hot FL. I have combo skin and thus far I've had great luck with Laura Mercier Flawless Fluide foundation, Bobbi Brown Foundation stick and my recent buy has been Dior Star as I wanted something with luminosity without looking like a disco ball.

I have oily combination skin and I use the Chanel Perfection Lumiere which is amazing. It has the perfect coverage and doesn't leave my skin looking flat. It does leave a bit of shine around the t zone after a few hours but I am quite oily there so I just touch up when that happens.

I love it to death but my skin is dry by nature so I would definitely go in and ask for a sample. Its way too pricey to risk it making you shiney or slipping.
