I MUST tell you from experience, if you want to black before dying, go to a pro! I ruined my hair and it's taken me literally years to get it healthy again after dying it three times. color yourself whatever, but please let a pro lighten it before. good luck!

I agree with Mari! Bleach is really difficult that even hair stylist mess it up, so go to someone who knows what they are doing.
