I use cover girl & Olay foundation. I love it but after like 3 hours or so my t zone goes cray and it just doesn't look the same. I just ran out of my foundation and bought urban decays deslick spray. Should I go back to what I was using or try something new? Any recommendations? Thanks ladies.

Hm I have oily skin too. I switched from liquid foundation to pressed powder. I use MAC studio fix pressed powder & MAC mineralized skinfinish. Switching those from time to time. For me the less product I use the less my face gets oily and thus clogging pores. :/

I do not have oily skin but I always hear people with oily skin use Revlon Colorstay. But like Pontip says, I would recommend a mineral makeup. It makes a huge difference in the way your skin looks throughout the day with oiliness. My mom has really oily skin and one day I saw her and was like "WOW your skin looks amazing! What did you do?" And she had just switched to mineral makeup. Her face stayed matte all day! I can't vouch for any mineral makeup as I have not used it but I would check it out!

Pontip, THANK YOU! I never knew that pressed powder was the powder equivalent to liquid foundation! This may be a potential life saver. I always knew that bare minerals was good for the skin but I never really thought it had good coverage. Is the pressed powder sheer? And buildable? You guys are awesome thanks

I have combo skin and do NoT like Color Stay. It sits on top of my face and accentuates my pores and nothing has ever done that before. It's also super hard to blend and gives me odd dry patches. Weird, hunh!?
I have been using the Color Stay concealer with acne fighters all over with powder over it. Works great!

Oh the powder is NYX twin cake SPF 10. So together, it's a cheap solution and my complexion has never been better! Best part: no oil on T zone ALL day! I bought the Color Stay powder for touch ups last week and have not had to use it once!

mineral make up is moisturizing and just makes me oilier, it literally slides off my face, yuck. I like colourstay

The MAC pressed powder isn't sheer. It's build able. I used to use bare minerals in the matte version. It worked out for me but I stopped using it. Idk what it is but I have to switch my products around every now and then so my skin won't get used to it. Same with my hair :(

I love Revlon color stay! It blends beautifully and gives me an airbrush finish. I love the way it feel on my face too!

As for mineral foundation I can recommend Mac studio fix powder for sure. It has incredible coverage and lasts quite a long time!

What I do is use a liquid foundation or bb cream as a base to cover any imperfections then I set it with milani pressed powder foundations, it decreases oil to bare minimum, and gives an even look to skin

Ohhhh and moisturize after cleansing skin in balances your pH and oil ratio in skin do your not creating more oil than needed

I really like the revlon whipped foundation. Great coverage and SO easy to apply. If you set it with a mattifying powder it works great!
