Should I subscribe to ipsy/myglam for 12 months, or just buy it when I want it?

I had two subscriptions. One was to beauty box for a year and the other was Birchbox month to month. For both, I got to try some cool stuff and much was all natural/organic and a lot was makeup, my favorite! But after awhile, I realized I would rather spend $22 a month on products I actually picked out and get to choose what to purchase and the colors, etc. whatever you decide, hope you enjoy. They can be fun!
