Ball/Formal Makeup!

So I have my ball in a few weeks and I am looking for ideas for hair and make up. I am thinking I will have my hair down an curled, and my dress is hot pink so I am not sure how to have my eyes. For a ball/formal is it best not to be too dramatic with eye make up and colour, and just stick with something simple? I am thinking a smokey eye, soft pink eye shadow or silver glittery eye shadow, but I don't want to be too dramatic because my dress is really bright. Please tell me your opinions

What color your accesories are? Cause if are black you can try with the smokey eyes (only black) and your lips with a soft pink. :)
