I'm half pure Chinese and it shows in my eyes, so I was wondering what do you use on Asian eyes? Makeup favourites? techniques?

Wooo i'm on team asian too! Lol anyways hmm i don't have super small eyes but you can sort of tell. I like using gel liner and liquid liner to line the top (sometimes a slight wing) and on the bottom with gel liner or pencil i go almost halfway (if i go all the way it'll make it look smaller) and sort of blend it out so that it doesn't look like i didn't finish it on accident lol.

Nice! I do the half bottom liner and smoke/set it with black powder to do almost an anime eye look sometimes. I have not tried gel liner. always either stick or liquid or both.

Eh i'm not a big fan of pencils, only to sometimes line my bottom lash line or to tight line. I always stick with either gel liner or liquid. And i have to remember setting it so that i don't end up looking like a raccoon :o

My liner always seems to boycott staying on the outer corner of my eyes and it drifts off. can't get it to stay. I might try a clear powder and lots of it for that.

My main go to look is the cat eye with a gel liner. I do line my bottom lash line half way just because I like the feline look even though it does make my eyes look smaller, I don't mind plus I get a giggle when people think I am Korean when I'm Chinese and Viet.

does anyone have tips to make your eyes look bigger? I'm Chinese, and even though I have decently sized eyes they always look so small in pictures...

I have Asian eyes as well and all I basically use is eyeliner... it gets boring after a while I wish I could go for a more natural look with less eyeliner but my eyes are just too small :/

oh, you gorgeous sweet Asian lovelies! I and actually jealous of your shading yet shape and what you could be doing with it! Gah! The amazing things! just for starters, check out gossmakeup on YouTube... he has a tutorial about eye shape that specifically addresses your gorgeous eye options. meanwhile, I will attempt to figure out how to copy a video only available to students of a specific school of how to do your specific shape eyes... that I <3. :)

Okay, ladies! I had the same problem for the longest time. What I do is apply a nice medium base all on the eyelid with a lighter, shimmery highlighter right beneath the eyebrow and the inner corner of the eye. It really brightens everything up :) okay, so this is my trick- I take a darker shade, and look at where my crease should be, and blend it in... I'll try to post a picture of what I mean. This look is great for an everyday look, or you can make it darker, and turn it into a night-on-the-town look... It's super versatile!
Hope this helps

For bigger eyes, wing your eyeliner slightly downward instead of out. This will create a puppydog effect instead of a cat eye.
I like to line my upper and lower lashlines with black eyeliner and my waterline with white...then add mascara. Also, I highlight my inner corners with white pencil (blend it out) and add shimmery pearl shadow. :)
