Hello everybody.
I have very long hair. And I love it. It's also a great conversation-starter. But sometimes I don't know what to do with it. And the skin on my head sometimes hurts because my hair is so heavy. For example: I can not wear my hair in a ponytail. The tension is to high.
Now my question for you is: should I cut it?
Btw. I'm 20 years old. Sometimes I think I'm to old for this long hair..
Thank you!

Omg! My hair would've been this long if I would've never cut it, I guarantee that! Haha. I know what you mean with putting it up and such, it's a pain!! :( omg. Don't cut all of it off!! I did to my shoulder recently and I REGRETTED IT SO BAD! I still hate myself. Lol. I'd say maaaaaaybe to mid back? With some layers to get some life put back into it!

You have two options, and they both involve cutting it.
1. You could get a trim if you like your hair super long. like, to your lower back. People will still comment on it, it's suuuper long!
2. Want a drastic change? You could get a bob. You have a very beautiful face, you could pull it off!

I think you should cut it, to about the middle of your back and with some layers. Honestly it's very impressive that your hair is that long, but I would cut it if it was me... as you say you can't do anything with in and it makes your head hurt!

Oh of course the options are my opinion! I don't intend to MAKE you do anything :)

To make it less heartbreaking I think you should consider donating your hair, it's such a beautiful thing to do, and I bet you will feel so good afterwards!

Yes! I was already planning in donating it! It would be a shame to let it go to waste :)

How about braiding it? Does it still hurt your head if you braid it?

I would definitely agree with everyone else here. I'd say cut it either to your mid back or lower back with layers and you'll feel amazing I'm sure! I had my hair that way for years and I loved it. I recently cut it up to my collarbone and want to cut it again into an angled bob :) so I guess my point is once you build up the courage to start changing your hair, you'll probably realize there's other stuff you want to try with it too!
