So I'm trying different ways to get heatless curls
Right now I'm trying the chunky flat twist and next I'm going to try the bantu knot. So far everything I've tried does not work to curl my hair except heat. I hope at least one of these works for me.
Would you like to see the results when I'm done?

Olivia, I have tried that and it doesn't work for my hair. I have also tried more then one braid in my hair but it just crimps.

Well you can loosely braid your hair into 2 braids. The reason it might look crimpy is because your braiding it too tight

Liv, I've tried that too. My hair is stick straight naturally. So doing it loosely does not help. Take the braid out and it's still straight. That's why I'm trying these because they are tight and my actually do something for my hair.

Ah okay. Well possibly putting in a texturing spray could help with your straight hair? I recommend the loreal tousle waves spray. Good luck with your braids and show is the results when your done :)

My hair is the same and it crimps when I braid it. Following because I'd love to find a good way to curl my hair heatlessly!

Do as many braids in your hair and then go with your straightener over them. Do that a few times and let them cool up for a little bit. The apply hair spray if you want to and that's it! :) it looks really pretty😘 hope it works!!

You should be able to braid your hair (dry) and dip it in hot water. Wrap it into a bun and keep it tied. Finally , let it stay for few hours.

If you want loose beachy curls you can try putting three buns up with bobby pins :) it works great

Oh sorry and your suppose to leave them in over night and take them out in the morning

It's like a rope braid but pretty tight.
My hair doesn't stay up in a bun for a long time
And you don't HAVE to sleep with them in. I chose not to. I did it during the day since I wasn't going anywhere and wanted to try it.
