I have really thick hair which is damaged by split ends which split to far to trim off so it's generally a frizzy mess, how can I keep it under control? If I blow dry it it triples in volume so have to let it dry naturally.

Find a really good deep conditoner and only wash your hair 2-3 times a week. Your hair needs it essential oils to maintain moisturized
