I just don't look good in fashionable clothes

So I'm 5 9 and am supposed to grow to 5 11. I weigh 150.So here's the problem I have some fashionable clothes but they just look weird on me. Am I too tall or too fat, or are these kind of clothes just made for tiny girls. I want to look cute but I can never find something that works on me
