That's fine! trust me there's ladies older than you that don't know either... braiding is kind of hard to explain plus there's just a million and one ways to do it. I would suggest going in youtube and watching some tutorials:)

I can't braid either, so don't even worry. & I agree with Bry. It's hard to explain so just watch videos😊😊& be patient & practice makes perfect.

Just think this.
-You put your hair in 3 sections
- then you take one of the outer sections and put it in the middle section and the middle section goes to that outer sections old place.
-then you take the opposite outer section and you out that in the middle, and the middle will go to the outer place and continue to do so.

It took me until I was 16 to be able to braid! I can't really explain it but I learned through getting pieces of string and watching YouTube videos. I practiced with the string I in I got the hang of it and then I just did it on my hair!

But I also agree youtubing it and finding tutorial will be easiest :) or if anyone in your family knows how to braid you could ask them
