So I'm going to be going on long car rides and plane rides so I was wondering if you have some simple hairstyles , makeup ideas an also ideas of what to keep in an emergency travelling makeup bag.

For hair, a simple ponytail or braid should be good. For makeup, keep it as minimal as possible. Being on planes will dehydrate your face so make sure you're drinking plenty of water and moisturizing often.

Hair...always, always a bun for long car trips...always
How long will you be in the car or on the plane?

I like to have a French braid because you can have your head back and it is out of your way!

I would suggest putting your up in a bun, or ponytail. It's better to just get it out of your face:) As for makeup keep it as light as possible or don't wear any at all.

Some makeup items I always keep in my purse are a powder (Mac studio fix) or blotting papers if your skin gets oily or pink - I use Palladio's and they're really cheap and can be found at ulta or Sally's beauty supply. Carry a spray of your skin gets dry or chalky, I'm a Mac girl so I always carry a travel sized bottle of fix plus in my bag when traveling (:. Having mascara and a couple of lipsticks is convenient too, I always find that I don't have to worry much about sheer ones fading or smearing everywhere so that's why I LOVE nyx's butter puppies when I'm traveling.
