Okay so, I'm a flapper lady for my school's production which is midsummers night's dream set in the 20's instead of Shakespeare. Basically I wear a headscarf (Hijab) and I cannot take it off (obviously) for the performance. I was wondering whether I could wear my headscarf in a turban style? Would some flappers wear one like that? I've looked on google and it seems as though they did. Just wanted opinions. Thanks.

Side note: I feel weird wearing my scarf normally and I want to look the part.

Do you have to cover the entirety of your hair with the hijab or can show it? I just want to make sure I'm giving you advice you can use! If you have to cover all your hair I would say to go with the turban style. I'm sure you could find a patterned scarf or add to it (if your allowed to do that I don't know) in order to make it appear more 20's. If you can show your hair (again I have no idea) then if go with one of the styles that Lisa has suggested as they are very 20's!

Thankyou so much Lisa! A lot of help!
Kendra- yes:) I have to cover it, but I guess I can show a little. Thankyou so much, that was a lot of help, I was panicking haha! I think I'll try a turban and then try one of Lisa's but show less hair :) x

You're welcome, and yes I know you have to cover everything but I thought those were cute ideas to go off of but cover more hair☺️
