I have super thick hair and it's a struggle to style and it's plain irritating! so I'm asking for 1) pixie like cuts 2)wig suggestions. like brands and 3) tips on growing it out... I'll admit I'm a little hesitant because the marine corps ball is coming up and I don't know how I'll look with a wig lol.

I get it thinned out at least 2 a year but I feel like it gets worse... it's so damaged I'd rather take the risk, but yeah maybe after the ball...I've been using coconut oil since last summer and I feel no difference tbh.. did you have a hard time styling it once it got a bit longer?

I can tell you, I wantdd super short hair once. And when I got it, I felt like it was too short. I think you should start with something like a bob and if you still feel like it could be shorter, then you can still get it shorter :) it's always a shock for yourself if you go from long hair to super short hair :) but I think you could wear shorter hair and you will look fabulous :)
