I tried for about 3 weeks and I noticed great results after the first week. It works really great but a lot of people say Vaseline is bad. I've never had a problem with it but am alternative is coconut oil. Works really well!

There is really no way to grow your lashes. It's genetic. But there is only one product that was proven to work. I forgot the name though sorry :/

Does anyone have any recommendations for growing your eyelashes instead of Vaseline?

I made the same mistake, Ana! I was putting Vaseline on my lashes daily too because it's supposed to increase growth (as you said (: ) but everyone said it was bad. so obviously, you probably shouldnt do it... haha sorry for that long story you probably didnt want to hear. haha lol srym.

Noooooooo!! Don't put Vaseline on your eyelashes!
Vaseline is a sealant so it could seal dirt and bacteria into your eyes and you could get infections. For your sake...please do NOT do it.

Also, it is a horrible thing to get in your eye! quite painful.

I would recommend stopping. It's a sealant so it seals the lashes. Doesn't do them any good and can clog the pores. Everything these girls said :)

Yes you should. You can get eye infections , and more germs than ever. Since Vaseline a sealant its going to SEAL the dirt and it piles

Sometimes when I'm too lazy to put on mascara I just apply a tiny bit of vaseline on my eyelashes to keep them dark and appear fuller. I used to do that only at night cause I read somewhere it was great to protect them and increase growth. but I remember someone saying it was bad cause vaseline or lip balms that use that ingredient are sealants and don't let your skin breathe..
I'm confused now :\
should I just stop doing it?
