Haha! I responded Molly! ☺️ and I agree, sometimes people just like doing things the way they like but I do agree with you about people giving the wrong information if they're trying to teach people haha!

I agree Shaye! I always think, if you want to contour with bronzer, go for it, I just think you should have the information on how to do things correctly and if you don't want to do it that way, that's completely up to you. I mean there's a difference between being ignorant and just disregarding the "rules". I think it's great to do things differently but there's people who do things wrong because they were taught to do them that way. I don't know if I'm making any sense. Anyway, I left a comment on your profile! Just thought I'd mention that since BL hasn't been notifying me :)

To be honest, I don't see the point of bagging on other people's makeup preferences, it's just like everything else in life, people will like it or they won't and if that particular person likes it then it shouldn't matter if anyone else doesn't. Sure, I'll see people and wonder what they were thinking that day sometimes but at the end of the day, it's their canvas and they should be able to paint it however they like without other people questioning them all the time. I ALWAYS had people in high school asking "do you draw your eyebrows on" and I did; why should I have felt like that was a bad thing? It was a phase and I learnt from it, like I'm sure most girls do.

Over plucked eyebrow! A girl at my school OVER plucks her eyebrows and she has brown hair and I swear she uses black eyeliner to draw on her eyebrows

My pet peeve is when a girl look like a hot mess and act like she all that and say your ugly -_-...makeup all wrong , lipgloss all over your lips , ect. Thats about it.

Well, the only "pet peeve" I have as far as makeup is when people in a trusted position (youtubers, counter or store artists, even some makeup artists) give out incorrect information- as in saying a gradient eye is a smokey eye, telling you to contour with bronzer, etc. In my opinion, if you're putting yourself in a position of giving advice, then you should know what you're talking about. That's just my opinion though :)

I don't have pet peeves for other people, but I hate it when my mascara looks amazing on one eye, but looks really clumpy and smudged on the other eye

I hate it when I apply mascara and it doesn't dry completely so it gets on my browbone. -__-
I don't really have makeup pet peeves on other people lol

And "my mistakes"? You mean not wearing blush or bronzer? Neither of those are a necessity in life. You can wear them, that's okay. But I don't feel like I need it. Okay I'm done ranting. Have a nice day.

For me I hate when I get excited over blush and I over do it and have to take another 2 hours to fix it and it looks like I put my head in a tanning bed...basically.

I didn't say anything hypocritical. I just made a philosophical comment. I take back what I said earlier in the thread (although I elaborated it wasn't a peeve, just something I didn't care for).

Wait what? Yeah it bugged me a little bit but then mom and I got into a discussion about it and it just reminded me that no one should really be pointing out anyone's makeuo.

I don't have any pet peeves with other peoples makeup. Sometimes I don't prefer the way they do it but it isn't a "pet peeve".

@Bry-So once someone mentions something you do, this thread is no longer ok. Lol maybe you can learn from your mistakes in this thread and try something different. Very hypocritical of you...

Haha I have super pink cheeks naturally so I don't wear blush :) because if I did I would look like my cheeks got severely burnt 😊
But I don't really have pet peeves on someone else's makeup but I don't think it looks very good when someone has super cakey makeup when trying to cover up acne because it really makes the acne so much more noticeable
And it also doesn't look the best when someone has thinner eyebrows and over draws them a lot same for lips sometimes

I don't really care for these "makeup pet peeves" because one persons idea of beauty is completely different. Or you have the mass medias idea of beauty which is unrealistic. I agree sometimes people apply makeup that looks a little odd but it would really hurt their confidence if they heard someone discussing it. I am guilty of it, yes but I suddenly had a change of heart lol.
