Imo you don't have to get a tattoo that has profound, personal meaning. I'm not saying go get chicken wing tatted just for the hell of it, but if you get something just for the beauty of it, don't let anyone tell you that's not good enough reason. my favorite tattoo is two traditional roses on my shoulder/collarbone, I got it cause I think it would look pretty and I love flowers. I think its totally okay to get tattooed just because you want to, I hope you find something you like and that is meaningful to you, as we can't determine meaning for you, and please post a pic if you do!

I agree with Haley, sure you're going to have it there all your life but to me, even if it's a spur of the moment decision or you just really like something you see and decide to get it, it'll still have some kind of meaning/memory. For me it's swallows, whenever I say I want then tattooed on me everyone's like "ew they're gross, they build their nests in mud, you'd regret it" but I think when they're flying they look beautiful and carefree and have always thought so, so if I were to get it and have other people say it's stupid it still has some sort of meaning. Look for things you like, obvs not something stupid like Halyley said. (Chicken wing) unless ofc you're really into them lol. :)
