I think when you're not wearing makeup, you become very conscious that your 'imperfections' are visible to people. When wearing makeup we can cover the imperfections and then feel confident knowing that they can't be seen

Makeup gives me confidence because its a way to cover up my acne scars and give me the look of clear skin that I can't afford from a dermatologist...I feel like I can walk out the house without any worries when I have on makeup and not know that people are constantly gazing at my skin or ance scars and try to offer and refer me to a million products that they think would clear my skin...I just feel free and it really empowers me..but I am learning to feel naturally beautiful in my own fresh face but it does take getting use too when I always see other people with beautiful skin apart from mine.

It makes me feel like a woman (NOT saying that you have to wear makeup to be or feel woman, or that only women wear makeup), which is so powerful to me. I feel like the right makeup enhances any ounce of badass I have. when I was teaching martial arts, I was practical to the sport but I still wore my makeup to class and when I was training others. lipstick and all, I could kick ass and it didn't take away from my dedication or skill.

I think people who wear makeup should feel confident with it and without it. no one has perfect skin. women or men should be able to walk out of the door without makeup and feel confident doing that. sure makeup is fun and makes everyone feel beautiful and glamorous but I feel like everyone should also feel confident with out it.

I love makeup for the same reason I love Halloween: for a single day, I can be a new person, someone with huge lashes, almost black lips, winged liner sharp enough to cut ya momma, and the beauty of it is it's something that reoccurs every day. You can be anything, you look however you want. I personally like to look like a villain haha, which is where clothing comes in.

I just recently started using makeup, just bb cream, eyebrow filler, and lipstick and sometimes eyeshadow, and it makes me feel more confident. I don't know, I just feel prettier, and I'm not as self conscious when I talk to people
