You don't need to further dilute the tea tree oil that the Body Shop sells, it is already 15 % tea tree oil.

There's also a possibility that it just doesn't work with your skin.

I have sensitive skin as well. I've tried their toner and the moment I applied a bit, it stung like crazy. Granted, it was a different reaction from yours but now I know I can't use anything with tea tree oil in it. Even the tiniest amount will give off some sort of reaction :/

I have a combination skin.. used the body shop tea tree oil.. I applied it direct with the help of cotton (very small quantity) before bed time. it helped me :)
