Hi! I currently have washed out reddish (with hints of brown) hair that I've been waiting to color back to brown hair the past 6 months. Now my hair is a bit weird and I used to have ombre before coloring it to red (the hair colorist put the dye straight onto my hair therefore giving me two different shades of red when it faded out which caused this whole wanting to color it back)
I've been back and forth trying to figure out what color would be the best for me to cancel out the red dye in my hair so I can potentially go a light caramel brown gradually and also so I don't have too see that my ends are a different shade every single day. I'm a newbie at hair coloring(The red was the first time I ever colored my entire head of hair!) and was wondering if any of you experienced people had any advice! :)
I hear that ash brown/ just straight brown would be the best way to go but should I be going a bit darker than my natural hair or could I could lighter than my natural hair color or would that not be able to cancel out the red?
Any advice would be helpful! Thankyou! ^-^

When it comes to corrective color I always suggest going to your stylist. To achieve the color that your looking for, you may need something with a hint of green to counteract and neutralize the red. If you were to use just one color your ends would still be lighter than your roots. You would need two different formulas.
