I bought a bunch of real techniques brushes. And my first flat top brush exploded and the second flat top the handle part broke off. Has anyone else had issues with real techniques?

Lol maybe that wasn't the best word to explain. It just fell apart as I was using it and I take really good care of my brushes. :\

Really? I've heard good things about real techniques, I'm surprised that happened

Wow that never happened to me, can you take pics

I've heard that some people don't like them because they shed and they feel the handles are made cheap but I've never had any issues with any brush. The most I've had was not liking one after a while but even then it wasn't a bad brush, I just found a different one I preferred more.

Yeah my stippling brush by real techniques started falling apart after a few uses but my setting brush is fine, I just deduced that either I got a bad brush or one of my family members turned it right side up before it was done drying ( which happens a lot).

This is my second real techniques flat top brush and it's another yet different issue. I mean I have tons of other brushes I can use I guess but I likes these because they were cheaper and I didn't have to order online

That's really surprising, because all my RT brushes are very sturdy and I've never had any problems with them whatsoever:(

My powder brush is falling apart too and paid £14

But my flat foundation brush is fine :)

My stippling brush occasionally sheds, but that's about it. My whole brush collection is mostly real techniques and I've had no other problems besides that small one.

Blah. I think real technique brushes are over rated. Tried mine 3 times and now they sit in my drawer. Only one I'd probably use maybe is the buffing brush.

I have had my real techniques brushes for over a year and haven't had an issue with a single one of them, and I jabber multiples of all of them. Did you wash it? And if so with what?

*have not jabber

I have a few RT brushes including the stippling brush for well over a year and have had no problems. Have you thought about contacting RT themselves and see if it's a bad brush?
