Don't pop them. the germs come out and goes on to other parts of your face and make more pimples

When I went to see a dermatologist, the first thing she did was pop a whitehead on my chin. She used q-tips so the bacteria wouldn't spread anywhere. That was at the very begining of the appointment, and she didn't clean the area or say anything about cleaning the area at all. So I guess it's fine...and it didn't leave a scar.

:) popping spots/zits are fine :) if they need to be popped if not leave them be they may just disappear or become white head and able to pop... Use tissue wrapped on both fingers and squeeze the spots but don't continue to squeeze if nothing is happened... Just rest your fingers aside it and use like a rubbing/rowing motion aside the spot untill it pops... The reason people leave dark marks and scars is become you damage the layers of the skin and some times it takes a lot for it to heal. Having a daily routine of cleanse tone and moisturise will help a lot with your skin. There are a lot of products with a lot of acid out there and simple is one of them. I use this because it works on my skin :) also with blackheads... Never squeeze straight away always steam your face or use a towel dipped it warm water which will open up your skin once dried squeeze lightly again and use cold water afterwards to close your skin back up :)

Also having oily skin can cause spots or dry... Getting the right products for your skin helps a lot... Say you have oily skin and you use a moisturiser every day and it has a lot of oil in the that's not going to help in anyway... So try check what your using. :)

I heard that popping isn't good because the puss or whatever that your making cone out will spread to more areas of your face. so popping one may just bring up more later. just wash and wash consistently until it goes away..
