I do the same thing faith! haha. I don't pull hard just enough so that I can get a nice line. I worked at the body shop and that's generally how the girls and I did it there as well doing make up demos.

I can, if it's liquid with a brush, i wouldn't recommend doing that if you are a beginner. If it is a felt tip pen just carefully line your upper lash line as thin or as thick as you want. then create a line from the corner of your eye to the tail of your brow stopping a little before your crease. create a line, making a triangle shape, and bring it too your lash line. the closer to your inner corner it is the thicker your final result will be. after doing this proceed to fill in the triangle. with gel liner, pretty much do essentially the same thing but be more careful because applicators with gel liner tend to naturally apply heavy handedly.

^liquid is not the hardest. That is a matter of opinion. Liquid pens, i think, are quite easy.

I think that it is a matter of opinion.^ I agree with Dana.
I would just keep practicing! There are so many great YouTube videos that help with the type of eyeliner creation you want to do. They really can help! And once you get the hang of it, it can literally take like ten seconds to do

Tugging is bad and will make it hard for you to Match them up.

awesome product is the felt tip marker esque eye liner pens by elf. honestly, cheap yeah they dry out sometimes but soo easy for applying! liquid was what I mastered first. I find that with the pencil its tougher to get a straight line, I'd apply short strokes and then smudge it out to blend it together.. liquid if you have a steady hand is wonderfully easy.

At almost 40, I can tell you avoid anything that causes wrinkles. Continual tugging at the skin will definitely cause wrinkling in time. I apply eyeliner with an angled brush. It gives me the best control, also it is suitable for various eye liner techniques, and never requires me to tug at my eyes.

On myself i do pull my eye. On others i tell them to look down and it is easy. I have been pulling my eye to put on eyeliner forever and i don't have wrinkles.
