Hello dolls,
I have a concern, I've read many girls on here have burn or irritated their skin pretty bad using the wrong combo of products. I take skin care to the head and try to be as precautions as possible, I'm a wussy when it comes to my face lol my question is can you use products with AHA (Mario Badescu products) and BHA together(Paula's choice)? will it cause a bad reaction?

I do it but I use an AHA in the form of guy colic acid on my face as an exfoliant and a BHA in the form of salicylic acid only on my nose to prevent blackheads. I use 10% AHA but I have used it for a long time and am tolerant. I'd start off at a lower number.

Just make sure to always moisturize after using them and put sunscreen for the day and you'll be safe. That's what I do.
The only time I forgot to moisturize after puting on AHA gel, I got burned.

Do not pair the both of them together. If you're spot treating one area of your face with an AHA and BHA in another spot that is fine but never layer the two products on top of eachother.

Yes they can cause a burn on sensitive skin types if you have sensitive skin or keloid skin you may wanna use a gentle Aha like Dr Graf Brightening peel it's a gentle Lactic peel thats does not burn but still nibbles away the dead skin I myself do not use glycolic I always use lactic acid products.

I was using the natural fruit derived Glycolic acid lotion in 5% avail at Ulta. I always followed with my usual Oil of Olay Sens skin lotion. It kept my blackheads gone gone gone!!
