Is sulphate good for skin??

No, it's awful for your skin. It really dries it out and strips it. Unfortunately, most foaming face washes have sodium laurel sulfate in them. It's easy to find SLS free face washes though, look for the ones that are creamy, and check the ingredients list to make sure there is no SLS.

I use african black soap, the dudu osun soap. That's the only face wash I use anymore.

Agreeing with Nala here. I don't wash my face with it daily though, maybe every other day, two days, or once a week. For a daily cleaner I use the Estée Lauder 3 in 1 which acts as a makeup remover, cleanser, and toner.

Could you post the face wash or the ingredients? There are different types of Sulfates in which some are harmless to the skin and in fact very gentle!

(e.g. Sodium Laureth Sulfate is very different from Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Sodium Laureth Sulfate is a cleansing agent and very gentle. Lauryl Sulfate is indeed harsh and irritating. )
