I have really thick, frizzy, coarse, dry hair. My hair already has somewhat of a natural wave to it but the underneath of my hair is straight. How to get I get overnight waves while taming my frizz?

You can use rollers. Or rods.

Just try braiding it and smoothing it down with a frizz serum :)

I only wash once a week, so when my hair eventually gets frizzy in a couple days, I then will braid my hair (sometimes 2 or 4 braids depending on my mood) then squish some AVEDA DRY REMEDY DAILY OIL onto the braids. I do it this way, so I don't apply too much. Then go to sleep & wake up with frizz-free waves. Again, DON't brush. P.S. I don't braid my WET hair at night because my hair is so thick, it would still be wet in the morning. Here is my hair in its natural state. I'm on the right. My profile picture was taken after my every 3 month hair appointment. That's the only time my hair is exposed to heat appliances.

Thank you so much! So do you just sleep with your hair down...or do anything to it?

I kinda roll it into a makeshift bun & pull it to the side. I don't use any clips or anything because I don't want to create any weird crimps or unnatural-looking bends in my hair.

Thanks! So you just put in moroccan oil and sleep with a side bun?

Yup!
