Practice makes perfect. You just need to sit down and take your time with the polish, and eventually you'll get better and be able to do it in a rush.

Practice on paper first. You can draw some nail shapes and practice making lines and shapes using your left hand.
Once you get comfortable with using your left hand then practice on your real nails
