I am going to say yes. I am a lighter skinned WOC and it was still ashy on me! I asked the employee at Ulta and she told me that there was no color selection suitable for my skin tone. 😒

I really don't find the naked bb cream to be WOC friendly. If you need a bb cream I would look at Bobbi Brown line or from the Shea Moisture line...where Bobbi B has more shades for yellow undertones and SM has more shades for the red/neutral undertones.
